Service Technician-Las Vegas
Position Summary Under direct supervision, is responsible for start-up and commissioning of Atlas Mechanical, Inc. installed systems and for the correction and completion of all service calls which may arise during the warranty period for each job.
Qualifications
- Prefer high school diploma or equivalent, plus four years related experience
- Ability to follow specific directions and work with standards of accuracy, repeating tasks of short duration, and evaluating information using measurable standards
- Knowledge of job, equipment, field personnel, geographical locations
- Knowledge in reading wiring diagrams, wiring schematics and/or blueprints
- Good communication skills
Specific Duties – include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide training/instructions to field personnel on equipment wiring and basic troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, test, and service related equipment and components within job scope
- Build relationships with clients/customers as it relates to job scope
- Complete assigned tasks or jobs in a timely manner with minimal supervision
- Improvise and adapt to job/tasks situations under time restrains
- Operate under stressful conditions
- Order any parts required to complete service calls and ensure timely and accurate delivery and installation.
- Ensure compliance with Company Policy, OSHA and EPA Regulations with respect to installation and safety procedures.
- Assist other Project Managers with technical problems and questions.
- Manage field personnel to complete projects.

Additionally employee is frequently required to stand, sit, talk and hear, required to walk, operate tools and machines, dial the telephone and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and /or move up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Environment Demands
The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Work environment is fast-paced and stressful with tight deadlines and timeframes. Essential job responsibilities and tasks may be performed in a variety of working conditions including but, not limited to working in cold, wet, dry and hot areas, enclosed small spaces, uncompleted buildings, or other hazardous areas or spaces, including:
- Work in rain or wet weather.
- May be subjected to various dust, dirt, fumes, chemicals, or other hazards.
- Work around hazardous machinery, forklifts or other industrial equipment and working at heights.
- Areas may require specialized security requirements.
