UC Davis West Village

Project includes construction of approximately 3,311 beds, 1,257 units of apartment-style housing to graduate and transfer students. The community consists of nine four-story residential buildings, a community center, and a maintenance center constructed using the prefabricated Prescient structural system atop concrete slabs on grade. A net-zero community project includes an exterior insulation and finish system for continuous insulation, TPO roofing, high-efficiency split-system HVAC, electric boilers, and net metering from solar panels over the carports.
(approximate 1,282,244 SF) LEED SILVER was achieved.

Mini-split AC systems utilized for IDF, Electrical and MDF rooms. Corridors will be served by Rooftop Packaged Heat Pumps ducted down to each floor. Bathroom and kitchen exhaust venting to outside for every apartment. Common laundries will be served by Rooftop Make-up Air Units ducted down to each level laundry room. Dryer exhaust vents to outside for common laundries.
